Published Feb 12, 2019Weezer surprised fans a couple weeks back with a covers record dubbed The Teal Album, and now they've unveiled a video for their take on A-ha's "Take On Me."
Like the song itself, the clip travels back in time to the 1980s, and the band enlisted some familiar-looking faces to play a younger version of themselves — Vancouver's own Calpurnia.
It wasn't too much of a stretch for Finn Wolfhard and co. to step into the role, as the band have some previous experience imitating Weezer, after all.
Check out the adorable clip for "Take On Me" below.
Weezer's next LP, The Black Album, is set to arrive on March 1. As previously reported, the band have a series of North American tour dates with Pixies coming up, including a few stops in Canada. You can see the schedule here.
