Having already caught the ear of Madlib, Noname and more, the Kount has now served up sounds for NPR listeners in a new Tiny Desk (Home) Concert alongside three collaborators.

For the latest instalment of the video series, which has also featured Canadians including PUP and Kathleen Edwards, the Toronto producer has come together with fellow music-makers Kaelin Ellis, Kiefer and Carrtoons to reimagine a series of NPR theme songs.

As bassist Carrtoons explains, the four put their heads together to rearrange the theme song of NPR's flagship news program All Things Considered (written by Don Voegeli), along with the themes for Morning Edition and Weekend Edition, both penned by B.J. Leiderman.

The Kount adds his patented percussion flavour from inside the backyard studio Exclaim! took a (virtual) tour of earlier this year, while Ellis and Kiefer add drums and keys from their respective spaces.
